Inspirational quotes from celebrities interspersed with common wisdom and practical tips
We are in the middle of the Christmas season, just over the third Advent.
Christmas stars on windowsills, traditional trees dressed in glittering glass balls and garlands. Gnomes and other magic creatures curiously peeping at us from their temporary residences on shelves, cabinets, and even from under the ceiling.
The streets are shining with magically shaped illuminated trees, irresistible shop windows, and breathtaking Christmas markets.
Dazzling December washed away memories of endless, dark November, exploding into the buzzing holiday Season.
Holy Christmas.
”The holidays are only holy if we make them so.” – Marianne Williamson

What to Give for Christmas?

What Christmas Is Not
I think that more often than not, Christmas is about presents and labor. First to make enough money for the season, then to purchase gadgets, clothes, travels, and other pricey stuff. Christmas goods are on store’ shelves since the first of September (at least here in Europe). TV commercials tirelessly try to sell us Christmas goods, too.
I remember one particular Christmas party happened years ago. Children were ripping the paper off their packages, barely glancing at the content. Tossing them aside, eager to find the present or money – something they really wanted.
And the spirit of Christmas was nowhere to see.

And I agree. What about you?
